Elizabeth Kathleen Mitchell, Ph.D., Burton and Deedee McMurtry Curator and Director of the Curatorial Fellowship Program, Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University:
Tamburini and Curti collaborated on a set of 19 prints, all taking place in streets and piazzas, depicting Bolognia’s tradesmen hawking their wares. Curti made etchings after Tamburini’s lively drawings, which included text identifying the vendors and their goods.
